Quiksilver History
Quiksilver was founded in the year 1969. The company has been operational for almost 69 years now. The founders of the company were John Law and Alan Green. The main aim of the company was to design and distribute various footwear, apparels and other consumer goods as well. In the year 2005, the company had taken over Skis Rossignol for an amount of $560 million – which was then sold in the year 2008, for about $50 million.
